Use the document list, search, and links to keep related ideas together and make a workspace easy to browse.
Documents and folders
The sidebar shows files and folders in the current workspace. Select a document to open it, or organize new documents into folders. A local desktop workspace uses real folders. In an online workspace, folders are derived from document paths; you cannot create an empty folder by itself yet.
Search
"Find documents" in the sidebar searches saved Markdown in the current workspace. Results show file names and matching body text; select a result to open it. Search does not cross the demo, local, and online workspaces.
New text that has not been saved and the contents of ordinary attachments are not included in results.
Link to another page
Use an ordinary Markdown link in the body, or write [[Document name]] or [[Folder/Document name|Display text]] to mention another document in the workspace. Include the path when names repeat. A link works only while its target remains in the current workspace.
Your documents remain yours
The document list is an organizational view; Markdown remains the source of truth. In a local desktop workspace, Tano tries to track a file's identity when you rename or move it. External changes still go through save and conflict checks.
